Lindsay is passionate about providing comprehensive, holistic lactation support while empowering families to achieve their breastfeeding goals in a way that feels natural, supported, and uniquely tailored to their needs. 


Her educational background includes a Master of Science in International Health with a specialization in Tropical Medicine and a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from UNC-Chapel Hill. For over 15 years, she has provided emergency health and nutrition support to international NGOs and UN agencies in humanitarian contexts at the local, country and regional level in roles ranging from technical practitioner to regional coordinator. Her work has taken her to South Sudan, Uganda, Kenya, Nepal, Bangladesh, Jordan and Pakistan. 

Since 2017, she has worked as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant to provide infant and young child feeding in-home support to families in the communities where she lives. When she is not working, she loves to camp, paddleboard, mountain bike and kayak with family and friends in the wild places close to where she lives. ​​
